The Importance Of Writing Blogs
Jan 16, 2024Hi, this is Dave Kats with Therapist Consultants, and I have a tip for you. Maybe it's time for you to start doing blogs. Now you say, what is a blog? “I can't do one because I don't even know what it is.” Well, a blog is nothing more than an article that you post on your website, and it is usually about 750 words, but I don't care if it's 250 words. I don't care if it's just two paragraphs. That's a blog. And make sure that when you put it on your website that you have a picture or a video with that blog too, because that makes a lot of difference. And talk about topics that are general to everybody. And then do some advertising on Facebook, telling people about. Tell about the fact that you have this blog that they can watch and maybe you'll have a little survey or something that they can take that makes them interested in coming to your website. Because the idea is to write a blog, put it on your website, then get Facebook and perhaps Instagram to advertise those things. Then it will draw them to your website, and then they will become patients of yours. So listen, here's what you have to remember. There's no difference between you and somebody who's closed their business, whose website is still up if you never do anything to improve your website, to keep your website live. So, do blogs on a regular basis at least once a month, but even once every two weeks would be great opportunity for the people that you serve, and a great opportunity for you to get more new patients. So think about it right now. Start a blog, ask somebody to help you if you don't know exactly how to get started. Of course, if you're clients of ours we can help you get started on the blog. So just make sure that you get the blog started because it'll keep you in the forefront of people's minds and you'll get more new patients as a result of it. This is Dave Katz. Thanks for listening.
