Virtual Only Consulting?

Apr 01, 2024

Hi, this is Dave Kats with Therapist Consultants, and I have a tip for you. I want to talk specifically today about the people that are doing virtual only counseling. You don't have a brick and mortar building. That may be changing. We are seeing a groundswell of insurance companies and other people requiring a brick and mortar facility.

Now, you don't have to be there all the time, but they need to have the address. Now, I should also tell you that Google likes an address. If you don't have an address and you just have a general location, it's harder to get represented and raise high on Google if you don't have an actual address.

So think about this. Maybe you'll need to pick up a brick and mortar facility, even if it's on a short term basis or on an occasional basis. Maybe you can get a brick and mortar address with another therapist by renting an office just one day or half a day a week.

But if you're all virtual, you may realize that sometimes you may have a brick and mortar address to get better results with Google and to satisfy insurance companies. This is Dave Kats. Thanks for listening.
